Port St Joe Bay

The two attached photos are a couple of our sailing group that gets together on Port St. Joe Bay for a week, about 8 -10 hulls show up. This year it is April 10 - 22 with people coming and going as time permits. We call it our week of SOB, Sailing, Oysters and Beer. We do SOB all the time!!!

Bill Whale with 38 Batwing Expedition

I got hit by a 50 mph wind and everything worked great. On two occasions I ended up tacking up a channel and I was shocked at how well I was able to tack. I did do a lot of reefing. In fact I would say about 80 % of the time I had a reef in and doing the reef was so easy with the system you have. Thanks again for a great system.

BSD rig on an inflatable kayak - It is a Gumotex (Innova) Helios 380 and may well be the best boat I've had for Balogh sailing. It is just hard to keep the water out in a big sea. I did the EC2007 in an Incept kayak from New Zealand, but the hull material is too flimsy for the florida oysters.

This from Neal Graneau: "I am a sometime Watertriber who has been in one EC challenge in 2007 - which I did not complete. My biggest challenge is to get my boat and rig to the starting line as I live in the UK and my boat and camping equipment travel by plane. I have had a BSD rig on various folding and inflatable kayaks for over 10 years and have always been keenly aware that they are the parts I never have to replace."
